This is the coolest little shop on Main St. in the City of Tonawanda. It is proudly owned by Destiny Rogowski, who is so positive and inspiring.

I brought my daughter here on Saturday morning, March 4, to have her hair styled in Victory Rolls for a Pin Up competition that evening. I loved the decor of the shop and all the vintage style accoutrements that Destiny had collected and displayed. Not only did Destiny do a fabulous job styling my daughter's hair, but she gave her so much advice and encouragement about the upcoming pageant.

Destiny also does photography, make up, and vintage themed photo shoots. She is amazing!

Destiny is the absolute sweetest person to work with! I had a bridal boudoir shoot done, and she also did the bridal party makeup for my wedding this past August. She can do hair, makeup, and photography for her studio shoots, so she's the total package! Plus she has a gorgeous wardrobe selection you can choose from, including plus sizes.

I don't wear a lot of makeup, so my wedding makeup was on the natural side, but it still looked fantastic in photos and lasted throughout the entire hot, humid August day.

The boudoir photos turned out better than I ever could have imagined, and her hair and makeup skills are incredible. I'm only sharing a cropped version of one photo here, but her site has lots of other examples. I really felt (and looked!) like a pinup bombshell for my shoot. Treat yourself to a shoot - you won't regret it!! ?

I have so many positive things to say about Destiny and Sweet Heart Pin Up. Destiny is such a lovely and talented person but she is also extremely professional. Her direction and helpful and honest feedback, along with her positive affirmations, made the entire shoot go smoothly and because of her the photos turned out fantastically. I trusted her with makeup advice and hair (even though it wasn't my everyday "look") and I'm so glad I did because she truly knows how to make you shine! Destiny was fun to talk to and made me feel like I was a supermodel for the day. I have never felt so secure or so beautiful in my life. I would suggest Destiny for any and all photo shoot needs!

Destiny is the most amazing photographer I have ever come in contact with. I had seen some of her Pinup work when a friend of mine posted her pictures. I was so intrigued but never did pinup photos let alone thought I would look and feel as amazing as Destiny made me. Destiny takes the time to make sure that you feel comfortable, style your makeup, hair and wardrobe. She helped me with posing and used perfect photographing techniques to show the genuine spirit of each one of my photos. She has multiple sets such as a retro living room/kitchen that can be utilized to I have been privileged to shoot with Destiny multiple times since and I have been published in 3 pinup magazines and an additional one pending for a Halloween edition. I would recommend Destiny to anyone even if they have no experience with photo shoots. You will be happy you did!

Can I give her 10 stars? 100? That is how we feel about Destiny and Sweetheart Pinup. Destiny and her assistant photographed our wedding, and Destiny designed and made a wedding album for us. Her rates are beyond reasonable and she is so accommodating and helpful. She stuck with us through the pandemic when we delayed our wedding by a full 13 months and made sure to keep our new date and keep in touch. In the run-up to the wedding she carefully listened as we told her the mood/tone of the wedding that we wanted. She showed up on time and ready to go, and took so much care on the day to make sure that the pictures got taken, but also that myself and my husband felt heard and cared for. Apparently other clients also make her hold the flowers, veil, etc. - so if you are reading this make sure you tell your bridesmaids to help with that so she can practice her art. While driving all around Buffalo for photos she was cheerful and fun to talk with, and was respectful to all wedding party members and family members. We did have to wait a while for thank-you card photos and the final batch of photos, but that is only because she is so in demand and is always busy - so book her early. Good things come to those who wait, which was true for our photos. Over 800 images and all of them winners. Looking at the pictures now, I realize she was everywhere on our wedding day but I didn't even see her, that's how good Destiny is! You will find no better photographer in Buffalo or the surrounding area than Destiny.

I had an amazing time with Destiny doing a boudoir photo shoot with several looks as a Valentine's Day present for my boyfriend. The hair and make-up was out of this world and I honestly could not believe the before and after pics when I saw them. When I got my gallery to review, it was hard to choose because there were so many amazing pictures! Destiny was awesome throughout the entire process and her studio space is so much fun. I would highly recommend her as a photographer and a hair and make-up stylist. She is just the best and worth every penny. Thank you, Destiny!

I found Destiny through a online search for local Pinup photographers. I immediately loved her style of photos I seen on her website. I messaged her and received a speedy response. When I arrived to her studio I was nervous because this was my first pinup shoot. Destiny made me feel very comfortable! She took a great deal of time making sure my hair and makeup were done perfectly. I felt like a model getting ready to do a shoot. Doing the shoot she played my favorite type of music to get me relaxed, and it did help a ton. I wanted my shoot to look like we were in a tattoo parlor and Destiny did an awesome job of making her studio look like one! I am so satisfied with her work, and my photos came out amazing. I told Destiny even before I seen my pictures that I would be coming back to her for pictures in the future. Now that I have seen my photos I still stand by that. My fiance was so pleased with her work that two of the photos she did he had made into posters. I highly recommend Destiny to anyone looking to feel and look like a pinup model. 🙂
