Prater Studios takes school pictures every year. After pictures were taken, our bank account was compromised and closed by the bank. I immediately called Prater and explained the situation to the girl on the phone and she was polite and helpful. She took my credit card information and charged it appropriately. 1 month later, we received a $35 dollar late charge because our check bounced and proceeded to charge us for it and the check amount. The owner called and proceeds to tell us he will still be charging us for the bounced check. Great customer service Prater Studios. Sorry that you monopolize the school circuit.

The staff always does a phenomenal job getting photos. I have several children who have their dance, volleyball, basketball, and swim individual and team photos every year, as well as school photos and they knock it out of the park every time. Super responsive and great customer service!

My parents used prater 25 years ago when I graduated high school and then another couple years after that when my sister graduated high school. That was in the 90s. They spent thousands. Here we are today and I'm spending way too much for an individual picture of my child on his football team. I ordered the digital download because I'm not going to pay for Prater to print a few pics and charge me way too much. Guess what? I got my individual pic. ONLY. Well, I mean they include the watermarked team pic as a teaser. These fools do not release the team pic with the digital download package. No where is that stated on the order form. Loooooong story short, we all have to pony up the late fee and our first born to get a copy of the team pic. Brilliant Prater. Way to lose business. Furthermore, your photographer is "ok" at best. I'm done. I will take my own pics from now on. If a few parents pooled together we could hire our own photographer and save money!!!!!

I don’t know how they stay in business when they don’t answer the phone and don’t respond to emails. They also can’t get their own email address correct—the website has @sbcglobal, the Google listing has @gmail. So is it @sbcglobal or @gmail? The world may never know since no one seems to be monitoring their email account or updating their website. I guess I should just take my Sony a7r III out and take pics of my kids myself since they aren’t interested in generating any more business!

10/10 would recommend Prater Studios! The photographers were very professional and worked extremely well with the kids. They had great tricks for making the kids smile and made sure their hair and clothes were neat before taking the photos. We got the photos back in a timely manner and they were beautiful quality. Very glad our schools chose to do business with this company!

website is terrible and slow.
11-1 update. If I could give them negative stars I would. Not only did I have to call three times My son didn't even get the pictures. I called yet again and they had not clue as to why he didn't receive his pictures. Supposedly they are resending. I have zero faith in this place and feel as though they are scamers

Very nice people! I had forgot about my daughters school pictures, they allowed me to bring her in,they took her picture and made sure it was in the yearbook. Amazing pictures also!
