We had the most wonderful experience with Julia! Our adult children birthday-gifted us with a photo session with her. We got some beautiful pictures of us, our kids, their partners and our grandson. Despite the weather and the traffic not cooperating, we had a great time. Julia was friendly, flexible, and enormously talented. She has a great eye for a good shot, and knew all the things to do to keep the baby engaged and smiling. I highly recommend her!

We recently gifted my future in-laws a family photo shoot with Julia/Young Love NYC. It rained the entire day that we had scheduled for our shoot in the park. And to be clear: Julia was very flexible about possibly rescheduling. But we decided as a family to push through and make the most out of the day, anyway, since we had gotten all dressed up and our schedules had aligned this once. And Julia managed to turn what could have been a miserable hour in the rain into a memorable afternoon that our family will never forget and always look back upon, laughing - and now we have the gorgeous pictures to show for it. Our shoot involved three generations, no less. And yes, Julia even kept the baby smiling for 90% of the time.

I've worked with Julia before, so I was anticipating a beautiful gallery of photos -- but she surpassed my expectations, especially considering the weather wasn't cooperating. She's always had a knack for catching candid, honest moments between people, and she got some beautiful candids of all of us with the baby, as well as lovely posed family portraits of us all together.

I can't recommend her enough. In fact, I am hoping to book her again for engagement photos soon!
