She brings an intentional and calm presence to what can be a really stressful process! I think it can be easy for photographers to accidentally dismiss client concerns with confidence ("don't worry! it'll be great!") but Amy genuinely honored, acknowledged, and supported all of my concerns and needs. Her intake process helped me clarify my needs for the session and the photos were just what I hoped.

Amy at 627 Photography was outstanding! We have lived in the triangle for over 20 years and used other photographers in the past but none compared to Amy!! She instantly connected with our Senior and brought out her natural smile in all of the photos. She was even able to get PawPaw to smile! We needed family portraits quickly, for Christmas cards and gifts. I was having a hard time finding someone who had availability on short notice. I'm so glad I did, because my search led me to Amy!

Amy was able to schedule a photo shoot at our preferred location at a time that was convenient to us. The shoot was relaxed and enjoyable; I never felt fake or posed. She had scouted out the location before the shoot, and had several different backdrops in mind when we got there. During the shoot she was professional and helpful.

The photos she selected for us to choose from were phenomenal. It was hard to choose just a few to order! They were all so good and so varied, we decided to let our families choose which prints they each wanted for their Christmas gifts. My father-in-law, who used to be a wedding photographer, commented to us that Amy has a talented eye for photography. So many of the photos captured ours and our son's personalities.

When we finally picked the prints we wanted, the order was printed and delivered much quicker than we expected. I couldn't have asked for better service.

I highly recommend Amy for family and child photography, and we will definitely be calling her again to schedule our next family portraits.
